Short Description

We are building a digital form management system for Provincial and National COGTA. The form management system will help both local and district municipalities better manage their forms and to provide clearer oversite of these processes for Provincial and National officials in charge of managing these forms.

Long Description

In 2021 OpenUp partnered with Provincial and National COGTA to develop a digital form management system. The aim of the form management system is to help both local and district municipalities better manage their forms, to provide clearer oversite of these processes for Provincial and National officials in charge of managing these forms, provide easier reporting functions. By digitizing the form process we are able to alleviate some of the difficulties experienced by those using a manual hard copy system such as slow responses, incorrect information and incomplete forms.

We proposed the development of a system to manage forms tailored to the needs of Provincial and National COGTA. This system should be responsible for the managing forms sent down from provincial to local and district municipalities. The system must allow local and district municipalities to answer the form and for Provincial and National COGTA to view their responses. The system should also allow for a report view, whereby members with the correct permission can see a report breakdown of the forms.
