🤝Stage 4: Contract
After a bidder is selected, a letter of appointment is issued, signed by a delegated official. The two parties then draw up a contract, which may include a service level agreement (SLA). This governs the legal obligations of the appointee regarding fulfilment.
What to watch for:
The details of the awardee should be made publicly available on the eTenders website, however the contract specifics and details of any negotiations after the bid has been awarded are not. This can make it difficult to monitor firms who have been awarded tenders.
