# 1.2 What does procurement data look like?

Although the rules and regulations are clear as to what information should be provided at various parts of the procurement process, the actual format of documents can vary a lot between institutions. Often, critical information may not always be apparent. In this lesson, we will take a look at some examples of document structures and how to interpret them.
