How do I reset notification preferences?

When the app first launches it will ask a user whether they wish to subscribe to push notifications. If the user declines at this point, they will not be prompted again unless they reset their notifications preferences on their device.

The most common browsers used by users on mobile devices in South Africa are:

  1. Chrome

  2. Safari

  3. Samsung Internet

  4. Opera

NOTE: Because Safari on iOS(iPhone) does not currently support web-based push notifications, push notifications are not offered to these users.

Looking at the most used browsers in South Africa, below are instructions to reset your notifications preferences on these browsers.
