1.2 How to get better data from a Goolge Search

Everyone knows Google Search - most internet sessions start at the famously simple text box, and there's no reason that your hunt for useable data shouldn't too. There are ways to get to the data you want faster, however, and that comes from mastering Google's search operators and Avanced Search.

Advanced Google search that lets you zero in on a specific website or domain that you want to search from. With the Google search specific site operator, you are telling Google that you don’t want to search the entire web, but instead just a particular site.

To find the Advanced Search function on Google:

  • Run a normal Google search using your keywords

  • Click "Settings" and select "Advanced Search"
